I am sympathetic to the plights of others but I am of two minds about it. I feel a twinge of empathy for others but at the same time I really dont care about anybody but myself and persons very well liked by myself.

I consider myself sympathetic, though realistic. I sympathize on a deep level with those who suffer the atrocities of poverty war destruction illness abuse and heartache .. not created by their own actions. ~ I do not sympathize with those of sound mind and body who choose to travel along paths seeking and acquiring those things which bring forth a negative impact to them and those around them.
