I can first off tell you that Washington is NOT the best state, but do some research and find out. But it should all depend on what you like, do you like hot weather or cold, or what are you type of attractions would you most want to see. are all questions i would ask my self whien answering this question

New York (admittedly, we do have high taxes and unemployment, but I love the general culture of the state)

California. It has nice weather, snow for skiiers in the mountains, big cities and rural areas, both LA and SF, depending on what environment you like, a booming economy, Google headquarters, etc.

Florida and Hawaii. Both paradise, good beaches! But Florida has a really good show CSI:Miami(doens't have to do with anything) and Disneyworld/Universal Studios!!!

I live in Paradise, California and yes there is one over here.

Kentucky, plenty of fresh clean air, water, lands of rolling hills, and some of the best down to earth people in the world.

I dont live in Virgina, but visited a few times and I loved it. The people were so friendly and everything was so green and landscape gorgeous. I could live there :)

I have lived in Michigan, Arizona, and currently, Oregon. I have also visited at least 20 other states. So far, I'm liking Oregon the best.

I'm not sure, I havn't been to all of them. Weather wise, I would have to say California, hands down. People wise? Everyone I have met from Chicago has been absolutely amazing. But I dunno, I havn't taken a survey or anything. Food wise? New York.
