I bought a Sinclair Spectrum with 48KB of RAM in about 1983, it had no disk drive - software was distributed on audio cassettes. Next I had a Spectrum 128, still without any disk drives but with what seemed a massive amount of memory at 128 KB. In 1985 I bought a Commodore Amiga, which had 256KB RAM, an 880KB floppy disk drive and a windows-style operating system. I bought my first PC about 1993 and I've had 4, although this one is getting a bit antiquated.
