I visited it last year, and I have some ideas why. For one, Hong Kong is a Chinese city and yet, it's Western in so many aspects: the economic system, the fast-paced living, and the very efficient and clean transport system. It also has something for everyone. For kids, there's Hong Kong Disneyland. For the young at heart, there's shopping and sightseeing, among others. Hong Kong is a fusion of the East and the West, the young and the new. You will feel at home in Hong Kong. Here's a picture of the Hong Kong skyline that I took during my trip there last year:

For many its business related..although Hong Kong has a lot to offer, it goes from one extreme to another, meaning it can be relaxing or very energetic..its a great place to visit, with a wonderful atmoshere :D Good for shopping though it can be expensive!
