Long.

-
short and sweet i think, but it depends a bit on the question
-
I prefer short and sweet, and if there is sarcasm in the one line quip, the better. However, I think you'll find me the biggest fan of stableboys 6 page wonders!

I would have to say that with some very deep and meaningful self reflection, I have come to a seamingly simple conclusion as to this question I am about to answer. On the one hand, short answers are short and on the other, long answers are long. So with further delay, and some more pointless babble, I would have to delve into the mindset of the average answerer. Being that you must remain true to your point in the first place and further more, elaborate sufficiently enought so as to help the asker as much as possible. so to make a long story longer, I would have to then look at the definitions of long and short, seeing as how they are both quite relative terms with respect to each individual (both asking and answering). So to answer your question, problably short. :)

Short and Sweet. I get REALLY bored readin the long ones.
-
Short and sweet but thourough, there is to many questions to respond to.
-
Depends, if the question calls for a more detailed answer I give one. If a short answer will do, I give one. I don't confuse verbosity with substance. Why use 1,137 words when two will do?

S & S

Short,sweet and to the point!
-
Depends on the quesiton... On my more frivolous quesitons short. On my more legit quesions longer... but not LONG... I want the answer and if I want further information I will ask you for it or find it myself.
-
I don't like very short answers, but I don't like very long ones either. I prefer two-sentence or three-sentence answers. It's just me. But of course, it still depends on the question. For example, if it's just a "First thing that comes to mind" question, one-word answers are very welcome.
-
I love them the shorter the better. Even yes and no answers.
-
Depends upon the question. I prefer concise loaded answers.
-
long answers usually have more detail, so them.
-
I like long answers to short questions and short answers to long questions.
-
Long answers if it is a serious topic. If it is just a fluff point building question, then short.
-
Depends:)
-
Depends on the question. I like succinct answers if they contain the detail . Long answers if that is what is required to give the full details.
-
don't matter as long it hits the points. and it's answering my question.
-
somewhere in middle unless the answer requires some background...
-
It doesn't matter except that I don't like long answers that contain a big cut & paste from an article that I could have read myself if they provided the link.
-
It doesn't matter to me. I'm an obsessed reader anyway.
-
Sometimes a short answer suffices, but on occasions more details and information provide a better answer to some questions.
-
honest answers - size does not matter :P
-
Whichever best answers the question at hand.

-
It doesn't matter to me. Anything will do.
-
Clarity of thought Logical progression from point to point Sharing information/ideas/opinions that resonate The longer the better. Insults Spin Propaganda One word is too long.
