Black Company by Glen Cook

-
Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey

Too hard to pick just one. Really loved some of the old old children's books by E. Nesbitt. Loved The Lord of The Rings. Loved all Orson Scott Card's series- fantasy and science fiction. Recently found a terrific new one I just love- Liz Williams is the author's name- it's the Detective Chen series. Really good combination of slightly futuristic sci fi elements, demons/afterlife fantasy elements, and mystery. E.E. Knight's dragon series is also excellent.
