  • It is quite possible. When Iraq cools down and the oil speculators feel comfortable about a steady supply, it will decrease in price. In NC, it has been as cheap as $2.11 and that includes taxes. NC has rather high taxes that are indexed to the cost of gas. If our taxes had been closer to the national average, we probably would have seen $1.99 already. Psychology of supply and demand does more to effect oil futures than actual supply.
  • In the Sinai right now, gas costs about 20 cents a liter. Or about 74 cents a gallon.
  • Yeah, only because a couple of months ago, gas was 2.01. And it's only up now because of the holidays. I see it as highly likely, actually.
