Yeah. That happened to me the other day. I answered a question that I thought was- Who are your favorite comedians? When I came back to it. It was something completely different. I don't remember what the question was, but my answer was still Pryor and Carlin.

There's been a gross amount of mis-moderation lately, I think. But there has also been a stupid amount of duplicate questions gracing the homepage. I imagine there is only so much the admins can do!!

I have noticed a lot of nonsense questions. I flag those faster than any other kind. What are Ugg boots. I haven't flagged that one yet.

I know..that used to really bother me. I would answer a question. If someone had asked a similar/not identical question earlier, my answer would get transferred to it..which made my answer ludicrous, ridiculous, off-point and absurd. When people summarily judge a question to be a duplicate, they are wrong much of the time..they don't "get" nuance..they don't "get" how changing a word or two totally changes the gist/thrust of the question. I got tired of fighting that battle. Once you answer a question, you have control over what the "powers that be" choose to do with it. You're stuck with their judgment overriding your response to a specific question! Fair? He** no, I don't think so, but I gave up last year! :)

I read a real bad moderation today. The flagged question was 'Will you post your favorite photo you took?'. The original it was flagged as was 'Will you post a photo of you?'. Not even close to a duplicate.

Yes I have appealed against some that I have answered but not asked.I hate it when slack moderation makes the answers look as if they have been written by morons. Some of the combination questions are totally inaccurate flags.
