Is it true a turtle can breath underwater using it's blood vessel lined anus as gills pushing water in and out?

No if it does that it means it will be time to clean out the turtle tank because it crapped everywhere. Mr Bill

yes it is true. in some species of aquatic turtles they have 2 pouches just inside their anus that allow water in. the pouches are lined with capillaries and oxygne diffuses across the pouch lining into the capillaries. The turtles still need to breathe air since this method just supplements them while they are underwater for long periods of time.
