Push more towards alternate fuels, to drive the cost of oil down. I would remove all funding to programs like space exploration until we could get a firm handle on what is happening right here and now. We can always go back and refund programs later but my main concern would be getting back on track.

Get some money going to the people not companies!! If people got the money they would use it then the companies would get profit too!!

I would remove all forms of income taxes. I would stop all bailouts. I would increase tarriffs on all imports so that the products made localally were always less expenive than the imports. I would institute a consumption tax on all items except: Food as ingredients (non-prepared food), Primary Homes, 1 car per person per 5 years would be exempt, all medical, and all clothing. Churches would be taxed as a business. I would create a fund that would provide for new start up businesses that create zero emission products, solar panels, and alternitive energy. I would outlaw anything geneticly modified in our food source. I would mandate that all non-commercial vehicles get at least 45 MPG. I would put troops at the US/Mexico boarder and give order to shoot to kill any trespassers. I would also provide a fund to cities to identify, capture and send back any illegal aliens, no matter the country of origin. I am sure there is more, but I think that would be a really good start.

Make everyone involved in finance take lie detector tests..dump everyone who failed 'em. Start fresh..make all applicants take lie detector tests..weed out those who are self-centered,self-absorbed,self-serving, selfish and it in for what they can get not what they can give. That would be a start! :)

Let an A-Bomb wipe out everyone. At least noone will complain then lol. Im only joking. I can't be and don't wanna be president so all i can say is listen to the people rather than decide myself :P
