I kind of like the quote, "to be interested is to be interesting". It means if you are interested in other people, you will become interesting to them too. Ask people questions about themselves, most people like to talk about themselves. This will make you less boring.

Many times, a person is called boring because he is with the wrong people. When you are with people you have a lot in common with, you will suddenly become less boring.

People love to talk about themselves; to feel heard and understood and appreciated. Learn to be a good listener who encourages others to feel safe and to talk about themselves and feel appreciated or supported (or agreed with) and even though that means you will voice very few opinions, the chances are people will somehow think you are anything but boring.
