Your abs and trac control system work off the same wheel sensors and control unit. When the light is on your regular power brakes are working but your abs brakes are in fail safe....inop. You will need to have the abs/trac system scanned for fault codes. Sounds like you have a faulty wheel speed sensor. Good luck.

You're reading Why would the ABS, Trac Off, and Service light all come on when I'm backing out of a parking spot? Turning the car off and on makes the lights all go away. I have a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire.
