Yes. I used one called a Rainbow. The water gets really nasty, and it had an impeller in the water that needed to be cleaned every so often - equally nasty. Overall, I'd rather pick up sand than mud. Similarly, I'd rather use a dry vacuum than a Rainbow. They're still in business! http://www.rainbowsystem.com

My mother allowed an in home demo back when they had door to door salesmen. Being 13 I was quite amazed with it but it seemed like too much extra work to Mom. (empty the bucket after use)

Yes I do. I don't know how many there are like that, but one is Rainbow. I have used it once. +5
