  • I don't try to get out of jury duty. I WANT to serve on a jury.
  • I have kids and can't take off of work cause i need to support them!!!!!
  • I avoid the whole issue by never returning the original questionnaire that gets you on the list... that's technically illegal, but I live in Brooklyn, NY, and the cops don't have time to deal with something so minor...
  • I'm a terrible liar...I've served all three times called...even when I had a new baby.
  • Never been called. My wife has and has served.
  • I told the truth. That it was against my religious consciousness to subject a living human to a post 1933 court system that was set up to mitigate away the effects of American Law and is now based entirely in Marxism. The court denied my exemption however within my request it was clear I would nullify any mitigations of law set before me if I was forced to hear a case. Months later I was sent a letter telling me that I needed to call in once a day for a week to see if I was picked to serve or I would be charged with contempt. I did call in and figured it would be fun to nullify some of their ignorance but even that my town was small and two jury trials were conducted that week I was not picked. I believe what had happened was that the letter was sent to insure public policy so no other citizens would think they could be exempt and at the same time They would never actually pick me because the last person in the world they want on a jury today is someone with an nationality from the (u)nited States of America.
  • I told the truth. I had just had eye surgery and was not seeing well at all. I was asked to present a letter from my eye doctor to attest to that fact which I did and I was excused.
  • Well, I got summoned twice in one month and I was in the police academy so I couldn't serve.
