Yes, if you understand all the little nuances, then mathematics makes a ton of sense. This is why there is an entire class in college titled, Logic and Proof in Mathematics.

Mathematics is one of the few things that makes sense every time, inside and out. What often doesn't make sense is the way it is taught in the public schools. Teachers who don't understand Math try to teach it out of books that were written by Mathematicians who don't know how to teach. It's a complete mess.
