I bite the bad part off, spit it out into a bin and eat the rest.

If a part is rotten, the fungal spores would be all over to contaminate the apple.It would be wise to throw it away rather than to burden oneself with unnecessary medical bills.

I usually get so grossed out when I get rotten food in my mouth that I lose my appetite altogether. So I would probably throw it out, but usually I check for rotten spots beforehand and just cut them off.

I don't bite into apples, I slice them up into pieces with a knife. Today, I had three caramel apples and all of them had rotten brown spots inside. If I bit into three rotten apples consecutively, I would have hurled.

If the apple is rotten, I'll just throw it away and not take any chances on getting sick because apples are cheap. However, if I dropped the apple and it is just bruised, I'll cut out the bad part and eat the rest.
