How do you feel about the Yankees being almost out of postseason contention?

LOL, well...you know how much I "love" the Yankees..and the Mets! Hey, whoever outplays everyone else deserves to be there. I still think it's up in the air who will be there this year.

I'm a big yankee fan so I feel realy bad about it but I think that the yanks could make it to the playoffs only if they start playing smart ball and if joba gets better but theyre offense might carry them there pitching can't though unless theyre pitching makes a miracle happen

I'm a Red Sox fan..so while I sympathesize with Yankee fans, it doesn't affect me one way or the other! :)

I've been trying not to admit that they are out of it because I'm a Bluejays fan, and if the Yankees are out of the running then the Bluejays DEFINITELY are out of it, and I'm not ready to give up hope just yet!!! Seriously though, it shows that the old cliche about good pitching winning more games than good offence is true... aside from Mussina and Pettitte, the Yankee rotation for most of the season has been little better than batting practice pitching. They are far from a complete team despite the vast number of high-profile superstars they have there, and in some ways I find their failure to achieve even a post-season spot to be reassuring as it emphasises the value of teamwork and consistency over individuals and money.
