I want to start acting and singing professionally. How do I find an agent?

You can't just ask an agent to help you. You can try and get sing at local places and if people like you sometimes they will hire you to sing on certain nights. It takes awhile to be noticed by record companys so don't think you'll get hired the first couple times. My friend is only 13 and she is a great singer and opens for famous singers, but she still gets critizism. If you are up for people bashing you no matter what, go for it, but if you will break down when someone says you are a bad singer I say, get a new dream. ------------- "thanks im not only into singing also acting. i dont find any good parts to adition to here in phoenix. thats why i need a agent to help me get my self out there with acting" Acting agencies usually come to big cities to audition bron-to-be actos and singers. You should try to find out when some agencies are coming. Here in Vancouver, Nicklodean and Disney have come to hold auditions already.
