I think there is some dysfunctional stuff going on there for sure. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
-
Yes, I think she is trying to back track now, to trying and save her daughter, when she is the one who called the police in the first place, guilt.
-
Without a doubt Cindy Anthony is a big liar. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I believe Casey grew up learning how to lie from her mother.
-
I think she is in denial over what she knows her daughter did. But she is also trying to protect her daughter. This is such a sad story, and I know there will not be a happy ending.
-
I think she is, but I think her motives are entirely different and not nearly as sinister. Can you imagine being in her shoes? Your granddaughter is dead and it's probably your daughter that murdered her. Wow. She has my vote for Queen of Denial, that's for sure. That does not excuse all of her lying though. Her granddaughter deserves justice and I hope she realizes that.
-
I do. I think she's known the entire time her daughter was guilty. I don't understand how she could NOT say something. This was her grandchild but after all, Casey didn't want the child and wasn't it Cindy that "made" her keep Kaylee and raise her. I don't understand how someone could not stand up for that little girl.

Yes definitely, a better liar in fact. I feel Cindy is more sinister than Casey because Casey is just "nuts," crazy, "off her rocker". I sincerely believe that. Cindy, on the other hand contains the living, thriving pathology that formed her daughter. Casey is a result of Cindy...Psychology 101. Cindy is also shrewd, calculating and remorseless when it comes to telling lies--unlike Casey who lives in her own little world and actually believes her lies as a means of denial and self protection. Cindy is conscience of her lies but believes we, the public, are dumb enough to believe her. Her arrogance and relentlessness about her lies, gives her away. The "weak spot" of the most evil person is always their arrogance. This is my opinion having studied this case, particularly the videos, from the beginning. It is also an intuitive knowledge based on my own experiences in life. I see Casey as broken to the point of insanity...the result of having been raised, neglected and mistreated by a malignant narcissist. Malignant narcissists are adept at hiding and will sacrifice their own children for their image, money or whatever motivates them. That is why Cindy will never turn on Casey or admit to Casey's crime and pathology. To do so incriminates herself and that is an "honesty" she will not allow herself to feel. Cindy seems to be all about image and looking good. A drastic crime such as the one Casey committed is an attempt to break through the non-feeling narcissism embodied in Cindy. It is also a plea to be noticed and loved and SEEN by Cindy. Casey has reactive attachment disorder in the extreme. She will pay for her crime and Cindy will continue to "save face" and protect her OWN image by saying that Casey is innocent, but remember...it is not that she is feeling sympathy for Casey. It is Cindy's hatred of Casey that drove Casey to murder...to destroy that one thing (Caylee) that aroused an emotional reaction in Cindy...the emotional reaction that Casey never received. Both are evil, but in a much different way and for much different reasons. Hatred and jealousy are at the core for both these women.

Who care, that is not news no more XD

She is definitely a liar and in denial. For her to say in an interview that Casey would get the Mother of the Year award for protecting Caylee is denial to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beou01EVZlI

i think that the mom does not want to believe or accept that her child could do something so hoffific and for that reason she tries to protect her, i dont think she is a liar just a distraught mother and grandmother. it is hard to deal with the fact that the child you carried and raised could be so terrible
