How come so many people on here have rabbits that are having babies? I've never seen so many people with rabbits!

At Answerbag the majority of people on line at any given time are comprised mostly of owners of rabbits having babies or young women who have been having sex and their cycle is late in starting. Take those two groups away and there aren't very many left.

It's because so many people don't know about rabbits and because of that end up with problems. The people at the pet stores who sell rabbits do not know how to sex rabbits as they probably think that a young rabbit will have a penis or testicles to show it's a buck, but they don't. So people go home with 2 'does' and surprise!!! Or people think they can just keep many rabbits all together in a cage, thus making more rabbits for even more people that don't know about rabbits yet. I think what most people don't know is how young a rabbit can get pregnant. If they knew that one thing, maybe it would be possible for many problems to be avoided.
