Yes. If you say a word over and over, it starts to seem outlandish. If you lie in bed, and fold one leg over the other and just look at your foot for 5 minutes, turning it this way and that, it will start to look like some sort of mutated limb. Likewise, the longer you ponder your life, the more feelings of unreality will arise. One should learn how often to let their programming make their lives mundane and safe, and how often to break through the programming and see life with less illusion, and more possiblity.
