Well, luck doesn't exist, so it isn't unlucky in any way. But it is said to be the "Number of the Beast", and is assosciated with Satan and hell and all things evil. I wouldn't worry about it too much, though.

In the Book of Revelation in the NEw Testament, the number 666 is used as a code for the Evil One, the ANti Christ. The reason is that 7 was, to Hebrews, the perfect number, and generally associated with God. 6, being one short, symbolised someone who wanted to be like God, but fell short. To answer that question it is important to look at the context at Revelation 13:17,18 it reads 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18.Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred threescore and six... So that scripture mentions two symbolic things, the wild beast and the number 666 which is a man's number. What does that mean? Well in the bible when something is mentioned three times, it is giving emphasis. So 6 being short of 7 is imperfect to the third degree. It is mankind's number opposed to God's holy people. That number being of the wild beast. Since it is coming from the wild beast, this also points that it is not one man who's number is 666 rather mankind's. Why? The wild beast is the one who issues the number. The beast exercises power over and issues the number 666 so a single man cannot be the "666" Anyone who sides with it has the 666 on them symbolically. Since it is a number that one needs to buy or sell it must mean that it is a government who has control over the people in buying selling, in every day living.
