i think your psp has been reset to its factory firmware, i'm pretty sure that most psp's have a default firmware that is japanese. You're going to need to install some firmware that is in english, and probably reset ur psp via pandora's battery, (its nothing super incredible, u just need a different psp battery than the one u have and install the software when u reset it, just make sure the software is on a seperate UMD. Thats the best instructions i can give, there are plenty on the web. search unbricking/downgrading psp's. if you want a psp taht u can play homebrew iso's on then install some homebrew firmware to do so once u install the downgraded firmware. if u want legit firmware install the latest firmware from the sony site after reinstalling the origional firmware.
