Take for example all the questions about trolls.....pages and pages of the stuff. If they didn't get all the recognition they're getting, then down rating wouldn't be fun. As long as they're up in lights........we feed their need.

In some ways, yes indeed. A LOT of questions could be eliminated if people would just do a search to see if their question has been asked before, or something very close. But the staff, in conjunction with the CL's and users themselves, do a pretty good job of keeping things properly catagorized, combining the duplicates, and eliminating the offensive material. Especially given the sheer quantity of material here. But there is ANOTHER reason for Answerbag, one that goes beyong the simple question and answer part. That's the SOCIAL aspect. Many people love the site because it's another way for them to interact with people socially, to gain insights into other people, philosophies, beliefs, and so forth. To that end, even posting similar questions to those already asked (as long as they aren't 'duplicates') elicits exchanges of information useful for this social interaction.

Yes , too many Candy Floss Questions. Too many moans about Trolls and DRs .Do it in Comments not in hundreds of questions if you are going to do it. Most of them are duplicates. Too many questions that just add the word Silly or Sillyville to old questions to put them in a new category when they should be put in a proper category. It seems the word Sillyville is a vaccine against a question being a Duplicate.. There are so few questions that will not be outdated in a week and of no use to a Knowledge Database at all.

I don't mean to sound like a *itch or anything so let me first say sorry before I even start but if you think AB has too many questions, then why are you asking that question?
