no, it scares the cat - i usually give up and throw everything in baggies or put it in tupperware.

well, as a bread baker, I usually have Pam or some sort of oil on my hands as I reach for the wrap anyway. Inadvertenly learned that this is the trick!

Yep. Trick is to hook the end over the bowl and pull the roll across the top, then pull it tight across the other side as you tear it off. For individual food items, I either pull out a section and lay it on the counter without tearing it, wrap the item in it, then tear it. Or roll the item up in it as it comes off the roll. Simple!

Yes, it really depends on the wrap and the container it comes in. We buy the extra wide stuff that comes in the huge box, like for food prep or restaurant size. It's awesome to use.
