What would have a greater recoil, a .45 cal full metal jacket or a .45 cal hollow point?

I'm not sure, I don't think there would be a significant difference really, I do know that a hollow point is more accurate but I'm not sure about recoil.

I have a 45 auto and I don't notice any significant difference between FMJ or HP ammo. 45 auto's don't really have a very severe recoil anyway, at least not that I've noticed. My .44 mag however is a different story.

a FMJ is usually heavier than the HP. The felt recoil may be slightly more for the FMJ. Unless the HP is a +P round it probably won't have noticably more recoil.
