I am just going to call 911..my dad is over 200 pounds..I think he could take me down:)LOL!!

Were I to reach out with my own hand, I don't think "Risk" would be an applicable term. With a 125lb weakling trying to support a hanging 200 pounder, I think "F*ck your own safety", or possibly even "Sacrifice your own arms" would be a more fitting way to phrase it. So needless to say, I think I'd be looking for some other way.

If I could do it while lying flat on the roof - for friction to counteract your weight - and hold YOU by the wrist so if I cound not hold you at least you would not take me with you which you would if you were holding ME (if you see what I mean) Failing that, I would try and make a rope with my clothes and tie you off to the roof stack or whatever... Hang in there : )
-
Moto, you know I love ya dearly, but at 200 pounds...geesh, you wouldn't stand a chance with just my outstretched hand. I'd run and tie off some sheets to make a sling for you to sit in until emergency help arrived.
-
200lbs? Geez, your screwed... I'd yell for help, yea, just like any frightened nitwit would..and grab you, but pulling your lard ass in is awhole new scenerio. I'm being honest. I heard sometimes people can have strength they didn't know they had in themselves until dangerous conditions appeared. I'd need to channel those inner strengths like the Hulk. Cmon bud, hang in there! :)

Giving my hand wouldn't save you, it would only buy you a short amount of time. I'd find alternate means with substance. I doubt I could pull you up.
-
I am confident I can pull you up no problem.

What the hell are you doing hanging there anyway?Don't you know that it is dangerous to do that? What were you thinking? If someone told you to jump off a bridge would ya do that too?Ohhhh I am so mad at you right now!I could pull you up with my pinky!!!So thats what I will do,and don't you ever do that again!MEN!

Your grip becomes weaker, but not before your heart becomes stronger. Your faith and mine combined see you return yourself to safety. . p.s -- and don't even try that bird saving trick when i'm not around to give you my *Don't Even Think About Falling* look.
-
Actually I think I'd place a few bets with my fellow bystanders as to how much longer you could hang on. I'm sorry, but that's my nature.
-
My first instinct would be to try and grab your hand myself, but me being 125 lbs, would not likely help you to safety unless there was some other object I could anchor myself to with my legs/feet. If there was, I would anchor myself and reach out both hands for you, all the while screaming for someone to call 911.
-
I'm only 120 pounds and probably couldn't pull you up..so I'd call 911 and look around for someone else who could help.
