  • The Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show. *pop!*
  • In person? I attended ten games during the 1994 World Cup in Palo Alto (Stanford) and Pasadena, including the final. Incredible experience. Brazil vs. USA probably had the best atmosphere. It took place on the 4th of July and I had just watched Romania vs. Argentina the previous day at the Rose Bowl. Long, tiring drive up to Stanford, but well worth it. My aisle seat was one section away from the mass of Brazilians supporters. Very colorful with red white and blue against the yellow and green of Brazil. I developed a bit of a friendly argument with two Brazilian fans throughout the game. After Brazil won 1-0, we shook each other's hands and gave each other hugs. They invited me to Los Gatos, which was where the Brazilian fans - "Torcida #1" - had set up camp throughout the tournament. I went decked out in my Uncle Sam's hat and a USA flag as a cape. Most memorable 24 hours of my life. Those Brazilians know how to party, let me tell you! As for the Final, the game itself was a bore but just to be in the stadium and actually watch that gold World Cup trophy held aloft by Brazil in person was amazing. I took loads of photos throughout the one month tournament. Lots of memories.
  • College hockey--many various games.
  • My 1st [Soccer] Champions League match. My 2nd Manchester United match. Yes, the famous Roma game, a historic game, Manchester United 7 - Roma 1. It was unbelieveable. I was right in front of ManU training before the game, and when the game started, and Michael Carrick scored that 1st goal, the atmosphere was like something i've never experienced before. You could even hear it on the television, the sound of the crowd was electrifying and I don't know if Old Trafford has ever been so alive. It was stunning.
