I use to think it was because he was a rich jerk but then I got to thinking he is just like anyone else on television and he is paid to perform according to how he is told to perform. We should never assume those we see across our tubes are who they appear to be but how well they pull off the ability.

Could it be, dare I say it, that many of the contestants have no talent whatsoever and Simon's the only one with the courage to say so?

he's not mean..he's honest..more than half those idiots go up there thinking they could sing..when in all honestly they sound horrible and its like they never heard themselves before..and are so shocked to find out they suck..then they put themselves up there all high and mighty saying things about simon..ugh..people are so stupid

i think that is because Simon is the so called professonal on American Idol. i also think that Paula and Randy r just there 4 the music but thats just me.
