Maybe for the first time, but not after that. If somebody gets drunk and gets violent, then stop drinking! I hate the fact that so many people explain away cheating, volience, criminal behavior etc. on drinking or drugs, if it makes you do that sort of stuff then stop drinking / taking drugs, its that simple!

Violence no excuse at all, ever. However dimness/ill advised advances and social errors all possibles in my life... also least we forget the fun that drunkeness brings (and problems I admit) I do some incredably stupid things when drunk but we cant all live like saints.

No. It's no excuse. Sometimes, it's worse. Think about it. If alcohol removes your inhibitions and you do something, it means you always wanted to do it but something was stopping you. Now if your significant other has sex with someone and they were drunk, it means they always wanted to have sex with that other person, but something (i.e. you) was holding them back. Very painful.

I've been drunk. I have always known what I was doing.

It is a excuse i dont like it either, years ago if i had a drink even if i over drank i still knew what i was doing! Biggest excuse in the book that one!

It's very annoying. If you are the type who doesn't remember what you do, you should stop drinking. Eventually the alcohol will become an excuse for all manner of comely behavior.

I find it very annoying... It's just a lame excuse to get out of things... If they really and truly DIDN'T want to do whatever they did when they were drunk, They wouldn't have done it!!! It's annoying how people say they can't control there actions... If they REALLY DIDN'T want to do it they wouldn't have...

it is annoying but not if you wernt with anyone and was teeling a partner why you did somthing it could have been that reason its not a good thing to do or say but somepeople can change underthe inflounce of drink
