I love flowers but on the first date it would seem less special because we dont know each other. I would feel he did that for ALL his dates. Maybe if we went on a few dates and he then gave them to me I'd feel like i did something special to spark his interest. I'm really big in wanting to feel special. Thats why I dont go to bars. I HATE having drunk men hit on me and then hit on every other chick there...not special!

It depends on how well I knew the guy before. If we were best friends for 5 years, then realized we should date, I would think it was cute if he brought flowers, or a flower. If it is more of a set up, or someone you've just met, I would think it is a little too much.

hmm not really, is not that i dont like flowers but that sort of gesture makes me feel uncomfortable for some strange reason.

I like getting ONE flower or maybe TWO on a first date....but not more than that. And not roses.....they are too generic. I would much rather get something completely random than a flower though.

Flowers are always appreciated, at least as far as I'm concerned. I don't think I would ever get tired of receiving flowers, growing flowers, picking flowers.
