Being a 'conventional' Pompey teenager. I can't do it. I don't want to get pissed every night, get high ever day and f*ck people left right and centre! It's just not me!
-
Socialization with my neandethal peers. I can't bring myself to have a civilized conversation with anyone less than ten years different in age from me on either side, of caurse there are a FEW exceptions, but those people don't realy act their age at all. Let me clarify here, one of my best friends is my 83 year old great aunt Katy, I don't know if it's because she's senile, or if she was that cool all her life, but you've got to love an octogenarian who still gos bowling every two weeks.

Intensive farming. I dont eat meat, I don't wear animal products and I only buy free range dairy products from farm shops. I accept that these things happen, but I really don't want it on my conscience.

Everyone in Orange County, CA has a 25-foot, 8000 lb Ford Expulsion or Chevy Mothership SUV. They clog the roads and parking lots like overfed cattle, lumbering about clumsily and bumping into each other. It's a sort of mass Silent Scream, and the chorus goes "We're blind to the environmental consequences, and we get 3 gallons to the mile -- just in case we need to carry a sheet of plywood once a year". Ok, I'm calm again. They're all very nice people when you get to meet them.

The war protesting. I am a soldier and I went to Iraq twice. I don't like war; I don't like the things that are going on over there. But I DID go. Now I know what it is I'm against. I hate these civilian jerk-offs that think they know best. Try serving first then form an opinion. If you have never eaten potatoes, how can you say I don't like french fries? If you are against the war then at least support the troops. It's not their fault!

I refuse to get caught up in the froth of consumerism. I refuse to wait in line all night to purchase a game system that doesn't even have any good games yet! I refuse to buy something just because everyone else has it and I'm an outcast for not having it. I refuse to buy things I don't need because of the siren's song of advertising. Text messaging can go to hell, too.
-
I have started a boycott against myspace (a very unsuccessful one)
-
I refuse to involve myself in smoking, drugs, drinking alcohol, and casual sex (straight edge!)
-
Text messaging and allowing myself to be pulled into questions that I don't need to answer.
-
I refuse to truthfully answer unsolicited survey questions or polls. Most are from political or interest groups and I see no point in helping them shape their message so they may more successfully manipulate public opinion.
-
I refuse to use 'netspeak' or 'chatspeak' or whatever you call talking like a 13 year old ass, "omg lol rily dats sooo kewl!111 lol omg!1".
