Wouldn't it be nice if AB could do polls such that there was a pie/bar graph at the top so you could get a breakdown without having to read dozens (if not hundreds) of answers?

Holy cowww! I swear I was thinking the exact same thing a couple of hours ago! You must be Nick from "What Women Want"! :) I think it would be a great tool, and doesn't necessarily have to be simplistic. I assume not all polls will only have one word / two option / true or false answers. Although naturally there will be some of those too. You can include more complex answers, and an option to give a full answer instead of selecting one of the choices, if some readers disagree with all pre-set options or want to give further explanation. For those who fear that polls will clutter AB, there should be a way of choosing whether you wanna see polls in search results and categories or not. Rather than creating clutter, I think it would create some order. A lot of times members are just looking for facts, clear suggestions or statistics. This way they could get a clear answer without responses being sidetracked, irrelevant, sometimes emotional or insulting. Furthermore it would somewhat eliminate flaming and friction between members with opposing viewpoints. Hope it happens..
