Because we're nearing an presidential election once we have a new president they will go back up.

Perhaps the calm before the storm. Last time they dropped a good amount they jumped back up 10% higher then the last spike. As long as we do not have someone with the balls to fight to keep those prices down we will continue to have to pay these high prices.

I have head that the Chinese were stockpiling oil before the games, so over the period of the olympic games, and just before the games , their requirements dropped, taking a large amount of pressure off the world oil , there fore causing it to drop a little, once they start buying up again, the price may well increas again, we shall have to wait and see I guess, mean while, what a nice relief !!
