Help answer this question below.

My boyfriend just bought 5 acres of land from his mother. The land is undivided land from his grandpa. The bank is using the land as collateral for a double wide. His father says that we can't survey it. What good is the land?

    the father is wrong...you can survey any propery...i am gonna assume you mean he is sayin you cant subdivide it? that maybe true but you could contact the bank and ask if they would be willing to refinance after a subdivision and only lein the parcel where the trailor is...another possible scenario is if you and your spouse arent the persons who borrowed against the property, you could petition for partition in a court of equity against the borrower and the bank....
