    no way are they the same.. with xbox 360 you have much more options not just of gaming but entertainment. you can now downlaod movies, shows and music videos straight off of the internet through your xbox 360. and if you want to pay a little extra you can get windows media player on it also. not to mention the graphics are much more better. ex. gears of war, chromehounds. if you are indecisive about buying a xbox 360 i believe it is way worth it. xbox live is a must.
