  • You can try answering it yourself with a "oops, accidental error, please flag for deletion" ... just to get the question back on the main page where most users can see it ... this is borderline ethics and should not be done excessively, but doing it once for a special question should be tolerable ...
  • Maybe no one has the answer you seek.
  • Do what Takei-Shihan said. I do it. Only I am not quite so subtle. I usually just put an answer in there asking if there is anyone on now that can answer it. I don't know if it is against the rules and I really don't care. There are so many people on here that are asking questions for no other reason it seems than to just get points and when you have a really legit one it can get a little frustrating when you don't get an answer.
  • If there is someone I would like to get their opinion about something I've asked them to stop my a certain question and see if they could add something with the link in th comment. OR you could try rewording it and asking again. If it gets rejected as a duplicate it will still go with your original question and it may stir up some more answers if you really need them.
  • answer it or edit it. you can also send it to a friend to answer. that way it will get back on the front page and more people can see it.
  • reword it and ask again
