Neither of those answers is correct. For an incandescent light bulb, it should be: electric energy -> heat energy -> light energy. The big loss here is in the conversion of heat energy to light energy; most of the energy leaves the bulb as heat (conductive, convective, and IR radiative) without producing visible light. This is why there are so many alternatives to incandescent light bulbs... it's pretty easy to make a bulb that's more efficient.
