Sure. I have a Provisional License. I used to drive all the time with that, it was how I learned to drive in the first place.

If I was licensed but didn't have my license on me - yes. Where I live the law gives you a 24hr grace to present your license if you don't have it on you. I would probably only do this if it were very urgent or an emergency though. If I was *unlicensed*, then no. Definitely not. Car insurance and liability insurance are void if you drive unlicensed (Same as if you DUI). You're not insured - so if you have an accident, it's big money that you may have to pay out. If you kill somebody and get sued, that's even bigger money that you have to pay out. If you get pulled over, the fines and penalties are very nasty. From what I understand here in Australia, not only will our police get you for unlicensed driving, because your insurance is void (by you driving unlicensed), they'll hit you for driving an uninsured motor vehicle... By the time the fines add up, you're looking at a lot of money, if not a harsher penalty. I just don't think it's worth the risk to yourself.

I wouldn't drive if I wasn't licensed to. However, if I was in an emergency situation where I didn't have my license with me and my car was my best means of escape, then I would.

In my opinion a car is like a weapon, if you don't use it according to law you may hurt yourself or others even worse if they are children and elderly. No I would not drive without a license even in an emergency there are a whole lot of taxis to take and not risk getting in trouble. Regards.

Haha I screwed my self awesome driving without a license. I had my permit and I was speeding in my dads car in a neighborhood not far from my friends. and next thing you know a cop car is behind me flashing there lights. And asked me why I was speeding and all that. I was so scared. and he ask me can I see your license and Im like I only have a permit and so he just asked me to call my parents to pick up the car and then he gave me a warning. But now I got my License:) BUT DONT DRIVE WITHOUT A LICENSE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. AND IF YOU HAVE TO DONT DRIVE LIKE AN IDIOT CAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE COPS ARE AROUND:)
