  • Since cut stones are a subjective market and are worth whatever the buyer will pay (only a handful of precious/semiprecious crystals havce an established value as a commodity), and we don't even know if your stone is cut, all I can tell you is that a 60 carat uncut emerald is usually worth less than $200USD. • hi me again. i just want to reiterate one thing. the price of gems range range range. if you look at a chart, the first page might be cheap stones if it the first few might be worth a few hundred dollars and they look beautiful but if you look in the higher price range,it might be like 60 thousand dollars )instead of 1100. You MUST look at the higher price range too, ...and see if your gem is in that category. its the quality of the stone. also don't go by manufacturer or auction or wholesale quotes. they are sold in stores and if yours is in its raw form it will hopefully go to someone who makes jewelry and they will need beutiful stones to work with. do you have any idea what grade yours is and also is it natural or synthetic. but i can't emphasise it enough, don't get disappointed if the first website you research has 140 dollar. it might be a fair quality stone and when you look at the site there are fewer of those and way more higher end ones. so please look at those charts i gave you. have fun!! and remember yours is 60 kt. which makes me wonder if it is synthetic or not.
  • TAKE IT 3 DIFFERENT JEWELERS AND DONT TELL EACH ABOUT THE OTHERS, SO YOU'LL GET A HONEST APPRAISEL FROM EACH.
