Absolutely agree! I think it takes a stong personality to admit you're wrong. No body likes to think they are wrong. Me? I'd rather admit I'm wrong than to have someone criticize me. I don't take criticism well.

Yes, for the last 10,000 years or so. I sure hope this trend isn't permanent!

Totally agree! I see it every single day, especially at the management level.

I agree that people do it way too often, I think it's human nature to try to take the easy way out of things rather than own up to our mistakes, take responsibility for them, and put in the time and effort to correct them, not to mention having to admit something might actually be our fault. We mustn't damage our pride or bruise our ego or be thought ill of by others. It takes self discipline and a desire to do what's right and to better ourselves in the long run to overcome denial and the easy art of passing the buck and usually sooner or later it's going to bite ya in the ass some way or another.

I agree. I used to be really bad at that, but I've realized that everyone makes mistakes and so admitting yours doesn't make you a bad person, in fact it sometimes takes a lot of courage to admit when you are wrong or when you have done something wrong.
