Tchaikovsky for me.
-
They are all great, but I have to go with "Mozart."
-
I prefer Tchaikovsky's melodies, such as Dance of the Sillyville Fairy and Piano Concerto No 1.
-
Well, in terms of genius, Tchaikovsky is very much a runner-up. Perhaps the question should have been 'Bach, Mozart or Beethoven'. Whether you go for Mozart or Beethoven depends very much on your personality. Mozart has a kind of crystalline perfection, while Beethoven is generally more earthy. However in the later works, Beethoven did write some utterly transcendental music. I think overall I prefer Beethoven, because he speaks to me more directly.
-
All wonderful composers. Beethoven for me as he wrote some brass parts that I love playing. (Wagner is my favorite, though.)
-
Beethoven, the piano sonata's.
-
Beethoven
-
Beethoven has more compositions that I truly know and love. Look at his "Ode to Joy" from the "Ninth Symphony"! When I heard this performed live by a huge choir and symphony, I could feel goosebumps from that heavenly sound. I thought "Surely Beethoven saw God then." So it is Beethoven!
-
Beeth oven.
-
I am more of a Bach Fan but out of the above mentioned I have to say Beethoven.
-
Beethoven's music has true emotional depth and self-expression, while Mozart's era forced him to make "parlor music" rather than music that makes you feel. Definitely Beethoven for me.
-
Tchaikovsky anytime. Most versatile of the three.
-
Overall, Tchaikovsky, but Beethoven is close behind. I do like Mozart too but not as much as Tchaikovsky and Beethoven.
-
They are incomparable. Seriously, I could never choose a favourite. They are too different.
