My library where I grew up had lots of Asterix and Obelix comics, I read most of them. There were always lots of Tintin comics as well, and I enjoyed reading them as well.

I grew up in the UK reading lots of Asterix, I really loved it. It used to be very popular and there was also a cartoon series on the TV.

I grew up on Asterix and Tintin... oh the good old days of Getafix getting everyone to drink mircale magic potions that actually apply to modern society!
