It is getting worse because of global warming.The north and south poles are barometers on the earth's temperature.For the first time in history the Northwest Passage could be open all year long,a very bad sign.With the icecaps melting there is less reflection,and the suns rays are absorbed by the ocean water.This cause havoc to the complete weather and climate system in the world,and we have a big hand in this with burning fossil fuels.
