Is going to a small college which is part of a huge college (for exmple Univerisity of Colorado at Colorado Springs) in some ways like going to a huge college?

Going to a community college is good for a lot of students. It is in a smaller setting which makes for more one on one time with the professors. Also, most of the professors are going to be more laid back. Going straight to a large university can be really overwhelming for some people. I graduated from a small town (population 1700) and a class of 35 and went to a university that had well over 10,000 students in a city tha was... oh.... 25 times the size of my hometown. It was really difficult for me.
