What is your feelings on the trend of foreign children adoptions among celebrities?

i feel that the foreign children shouldnt be put under all those paparazzis. i also feel they get spoiled. but i dont really have an over-all in conclusion feeling about it.

They can afford it. I personally, would LOVE an Asian child. But I can't afford it, so Angelina gets them all I suppose?

Foreign adoption is nothing new and I really don't see what would constitute a "trend" per se. If I could afford it I would do it too. It is actually less complicated in many cases to adopt from overseas than it is locally.

I think they accumulate these children like collectors accumulate beanie babies. There's something very "off" about it. Celebrities are usually broken people and never have enough time to invest in the emotional well being of a child -- much less multiple children from dire circumstances who need more support. I think they like the publicity more than they love the children. My neighbors adopted 2 Ukranian orphans. Raising these 2 children with their issues is a full time job for 2 parents.
