My wife swears by it - but all it gives me is a headache and it does not help my insomnia.

It works very well for me, with no after affects. Just don't take it too late if you need to wake up early, or take too much.

Yes!! My son has aDD and the pediatrician told me to give it to him when he has a hard time sleeping! Just a half of tablet..it works very well for him, and is all natural:):)

it is a very good sleep aid - it's no Ambien, but it is a good to make you sleep more soundly

I use it for occasional sleeplessness - it was a lifesaver during pregnancy. However, my husband says it does NOTHING for his insomnia.

I've had mixed results with it. It did help me when I travelled to a completely different time zone to get my sleep cycle re-adjusted quickly. However, when I have insomnia, it has not helped me at all.

If you have the right dosage. If you take more than what's recommended for sleeping, it can be used as an anti-depressant as well as a few other things.

I find that if I take the 5mg dose it does help me fall asleep and also to sleep more soundly.

Research shows it is helpful in making you fall asleep something like 10mins faster. But it is also supposed to help you feel less tired during the day. People working night shifts or traveling and getting jet lag sometimes take it. From what I recall, you don't need a very high dose. You can get maximum benefits with quite a low dose.
