Sure is. Some spammers are sneaky like that. But at the end of the day, it's still spam. Spammers post numerous times, for the same site. If a user is just answering a question; say you or I answer a question about where to get good goldfish food and provide a link, that is not spam. But if we went on a tirade through all the goldfish questions posting that link, it would be spam. Even if it did answer the question.

That is a great question, and , not surprisingly, I am still waiting on a reply on an email from the staff on that... Perhaps I should have used caps lock on the email... We will get to the bottom of this, as it is an issue that has made me email the staff... F I, if I ever get a response I will let you know. I highly doubt it will make sense, If I do get a response, so, Please flag this as offensive. The staff does not like to be "called out" like I call them out... They just dont seem to be very responsive to important emails. They would rather talk about the Olympics, as that pays the bills. Best Regards Mate.

... looks that way ... I have vast numbers of rejected answers because I added a link that turned an excellent and informative answer into "spam/offensive" ...

Spam is usually found in answers and almost always dos answer they question. But it doesn't matter. If they are showing a pattern of pushing a website or product, in essence selling a product or place, trying to get people off site to sell them something or get them to leave AB for them, it's spam. They often do it in comments too where you can't flag them. If you spot that, find a CL and they will remove it. Don't confuse having a link to something helpful or to show where the information came from as spam however. It has to be clearly spam. Often, if you check their profile you will see if they are doing it a lot and then make your call.
