Would you answer a user who keeps asking the same type of question and never takes the advice.

No. I try to hang in there with a person who seems sincere on a question or two but you have to know when to say when. There are often people who just don't get it or just don't want to hear anything but what they want to hear. Good question Yarnlady.

I have often tried in the past but I am afraid some people will continue to ask the same question until you tell them exactly what they want to hear. Some questioners have no interest in others opinions at all and just want you to say what they are doing is alright.

I have come across that. you give them advice and then they say but what if ..then you give more advice and then it's but you don't understand it's..then more advice.. after a while.. you realize that they don't want your help they want someone to listen to their problems which I don't mind but after a while, it becomes emotionally and physically draining on me, on anyone. You can care but there comes a point that you have to step back and say stop.
