  • depends on what your eating
  • Definitely a red wine for tonight. I'm stuffing red and orange peppers with a spicy Italian sausage mixture with a red sauce that has red wine in it.
  • I don't know, since I have not decided what to have for dinner.
  • Tonight, we are just going to have eggs and some dried ham we bought the other day. So it's not necessarily a wine with dinner night. However, there is a bottle of Bordeaux that my husband and I got in Luxembourg last weekend that I will most like open later for a glass. :)
  • ...white,...making prawns & snow peas...
  • When it comes to wine here's a very simple "rule of thumb": When the majority of your meal is dark in color, such as beef, lamb, dark meat chicken or turkey, liver, etc., have red wine. When the majority of your meal is light in color - such as pork, turkey or chicken breast or wings, etc., have white wine. When the food is mixed in color, such as veal, pasta, etc. have rose wine. When in doubt, go with your favorite or preferred wine. OR if you aren't interested in pleasing any one but yourself, you can have whatever wine you prefer with whatever food you are making for that meal or for any leftovers. Thanks for asking your Q!
